On this episode of the podcast I interview Steve, Why Would You Ever Vote for a Rich Person? Steve was born in New Haven, CT and raised in a labor family. He went to the University of New Haven where he was the managing editor of his college newspaper. He has a background as a professional firefighter in CT and retired as a LT. He’s also been a managing editor of “the Valley Voice,” local weekly paper. He’s worked as a campaign manager at the local and state level, as well as a lobbyist in Washington, advocating for firefighters. From 1980-1996 he was the first ever Director of Health and Safety for the City of Waterbury FD. He’s operated an internet sales business for the last 15 years. Steve is married with four children and six grandchildren. On the show we discuss the American political landscape, the best political system money can buy. 08 January 2024 – MC
